Jose was raised in Barcelona, Spain. He graduated in 2006 in Business Administration and Professional Golf Management by Coastal Carolina University, Myrtle Beach SC. Today, he remains as an active member of PGA of America.

Jose has extense experience in teaching. Jose was certified by Nicklaus Academies in 2010 in Cancun, Mexico. From 2012 to 2022 Jose ran his own golf academy in Mallorca (Spain) at a Marriott Resort facility. Jose enjoys to teach students, deliver progress and make it fun while learning.
